Regeneration – what it is about

Regeneration is the process of restoring used elements to their original technical and operational properties. In the case of an air cooler / intercooler regeneration, it consists in replacing the cooler core with a completely new one. Such a process allows to obtain the original properties of a truck air cooler while maintaining the previously used sides / bathtubs, which translates into purchase costs and impact on the natural environment.

The cores used in the regeneration process come from the production of the European Union, they are characterized by very good quality, durability of use and technical and operational parameters.
Before shipping to the customer, each product is checked for correctness and tightness.The air cooler in a truck or bus is used to improve the efficiency of the combustion system and engine power. By reducing the temperature of the air, which has a lower density and mass, the supply of oxygen to the combustion chamber is improved. The combustion quality of the mixture depends on the amount of oxygen in the cylinders. The intercooler has a direct impact on engine power and wear. A leaky or damaged air cooler has a huge impact on the operation of the turbocharger, which is not able to generate adequate pressure in the system.

The symptoms of a damaged intercooler are the most common
– engine power drop
– higher fuel consumption
– in some cases uneven engine operation
– faster use of other engine components

How to prevent damaging your intercooler?

We recommend that you periodically check the system of the air charging system and, if there are oil stains or the symptoms mentioned above, consult it. Replacing the intercooler is definitely a cheaper option to repair the system than a later possible replacement of the turbocharger or engine repair.
